I was very upset that we had to wait more than double the time quoted. I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism of assumed managers apologizing for the wait while taking appointments out of order and lounging around on the equipment. I won't be spending my money here again.
I've had some good haircuts here, but sometimes they style my hair in a weird way I don't like. One of my most recent haircuts came from a stylist who was disgruntled, so she was kind of hitting my head with the buzzer when cutting my hair. Also didn't ask me how I wanted my hair styled, so I had to fix it with my fingers when I left. However, another recent haircut I had, the stylist was very nice and made sure I liked my haircut and how it was combed and such. I've been going here for a few years now, and there are some really great stylists that leave you walking away with a smile, but a some of them don't appear to enjoy what they're doing. Really just depends on when you go and who’s working.
Two strikes and your out. I took my 4 kids right before school started. Two girls, two boys and they did a horrible job. I asked for 2 inches off and an undercut for my daughter, got a crappy blunt cut. An A-line stacked bob that looked like my 6 year old cut it. and to bad boys cuts. I just went in to get one of my sons hair cut again, giving them another chance. I always bring a picture of what we want. I showed the stylist and gave her further instruction and she had the gall to say "that's a weird haircut". Then did the crappiest job. I wish I could post the picture. Never go to the Bountiful, Utah Fantastic Sams. Every stylist needs to go back to school.
This place sucks! I dont normally rate places and I am not one of the internet trolls that just gives bad ratings but I have share my horrible experiences. Yes that is plural. I used to get great cuts here. I was always happy until about last year. I got 4 horrible cuts in a row and I vowed never to go back. One stylist who has a thick Russian accent cut my hair and I think a three year old with blunt school scissors could have done a better job. She tried to cut my hair with clippers because I guess they never trained her hpq to use scissors in school. I had to come home and uae my own clippers to try and fix all the spots she missed. Couple that with all her talking about is the fact that I am divorced and how hard that must be on my kids and it was a terrible experience. If you don't like divorced people then don't ask me about my family. So I requested not to have her the next time. Well then I got someone who was obviously new. She had to ask the lady next to her twice how to fix my hair. She just kept cutting it shorter and shorter because she messed it up so much. DO NOT go to this store unless you plan on fixing your own hair when you get home. These were just a couple of the horrible experiences. As far as I am concerned it would be better if the just went out of business.
I've been here before and had great service so I returned. Last night I took my son in for a quick haircut and was quoted a 15-20 minute wait time. I could see that there were 3 hairstylists on duty, 2 cutting hair and 1 at the register. I left my son so I could go to the bank, which wasn't a big deal because he knows how to tell the stylist to do his hair.
I would leave zero stars if I could.
When I came back from the bank, there were a lot of people sitting in the hair drying chairs at the back of the room talking and eating food (which seems a little gross unless you like hair with your food). Every once in a while, they would come up to the front and apologize for the wait so I assumed they might be management. They had a 11-ish year old boy with them who took it upon himself to check and play with the computer holding the appointment orders. I can only assume that he messed up the order of the appointments for as long as we waited. My son noticed two other appointments walk in after us and get serviced before us. Then, after waiting for 45 minutes, the next available stylist took the 11 year old and started cutting his hair, rather than honoring my son's appointment. We walked out at that point out of sheer frustration and the disregard we had been shown.
Best deal in town for the quality. I love the stylists every time I go in. They are skilled and guarantee their cuts and colors. I've usually always gotten what I wanted and they check at the end of the cut to make sure I'm satisfied. The hair wash included is nice as well.
