Same experience; bought a car that began to have major issues conveniently a week after I purchased it. Ended up losing $2000 just to get rid of the vehicle which I suppose was better than the $4000 in repairs it needed. Never again will I buy a car from places like this. Get a certified used car and if you're going to take a chance on an as-is sale just use KSL
Loved my experience at this dealership! From the first moment I contacted them about the car which I now own they were friendly and professional. I am a first time buyer and legitimately couldn't be happier with the car I found. (1998 Toyota Rav4). Everything went smoothly from start to finish and they were genuinely interested in making sure I had a great experience. Quality service here guys! 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Can't comment on their cars, but can comment that they must not be very motivated to make sales. KSL description stated to call first to schedule a test drive as their hours vary; fair enough. So I called and left a message about the car I was interested in. They never returned my phone call. I then called on Friday but their voicemail stated they would be closed the entire day but would be open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM the next day (Saturday). So that Saturday, against my better judgement, I made the drive to Bountiful. I got to Affordable Auto Sales close to 10:20 AM and hung around for about 10 mins but no one ever showed up. Left another voicemail that I had missed them and was disappointed they were not there; and on par for course, no call back. Not a very good business practice to ignore customers and not keep advertised business hours. Had cash in hand ready to buy; too bad I had to waste my time with this flaky used car lot. Learn from my mistake, there are better places out there that actually are serious about running a business and selling you a car. Looks like they are more interested in responding to negative reviews on google then responding to interested customers or selling cars. I was about to leave 1 star, but on second thought, I give Affordable Auto Sales an extra star for being a non-pressure sales outfit to a fault.
If I could add stars I would. After driving away, I noticed a problem. Jeff worked hard to find a part, order it, and provided it free of charge. This was after the sale. Uncommonly good service.
Had a very good used car buying experience at Affordable Auto and with Jeff. It was honest and with no pressure. They detailed the car well and fixed a number of little problems to seal the deal.
